No one was injured when a school bus carrying 56 students was involved in a wreck this afternoon, officials said.

Hall County Schools spokesman Gordon Higgins said that a bus carrying students from Flowery Branch High School and Davis Middle School was heading west on Spout Springs Road at about 4 p.m. when a car pulled into its path from Elizabeth Lane.

The bus struck the rear quarter panel of the car.

No one was hurt in the crash, Higgins said.

The students were placed on another bus that came to the scene.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
