Newsmaker in business: Flowery Branch officer takes impaired driving enforcement class
09062017 Flowery

Flowery Branch Police Officer Jake Xayavong recently completed an advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement course funded by The Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.

Taught by the Georgia Police Academy Division of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in the city of Forsyth, the class helps officers be “trained to recognize psychophysical and clinical indicators of impairment that are consistent with a subject who is under the influence of drugs alone, or in combination with alcohol, and to take appropriate action.”
