A Murrayville man was arrested Thursday afternoon after a brief chase along Ga. 60. Demitri Atkins, 37, didn’t stop for Hall County sheriff’s deputies on Bark Camp Road in North Hall at about 2:47 p.m., sheriff’s spokesman Stephen Wilbanks said. Atkins continued onto Thompson Bridge Road, traveling into Lumpkin County where he eventually stopped voluntarily at a gas station just before Ga. 400, Wilbanks said.
