A Mount Airy man was killed when his pickup truck traveled down an embankment on a Maysville road, according to authorities. Robert Turpin, 19, was identified as the man found dead Tuesday in Jackson County. Georgia State Patrol said Turpin was driving southbound in a Ford F-150 pickup truck on Gillsville Road along a left curve north of Bold Road.
