A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision with a car Saturday on McEver Road, officials said.

Hall County Deputy Coroner John Abernathy said officials were withholding identity of the man killed pending notification of next of kin.

The accident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on McEver Road near South Hall Road.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.

No additional information was available Saturday.
