Mobile job-search unit to offer assistance Nov. 19

Georgia Mountains Workforce Development is bringing its Mobile Career Coach to the Spout Springs library in Flowery Branch on Nov. 19 to help residents with job-searching skills. The unit provides Internet access to help residents with the following skills: Resume and cover letter development Online job searches Career interest assessments Skills testing Mock interviews Use of skill-enhancing software Exploration of training eligibility The unit will be at the library at 6488 Spout Springs Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19. Those seeking help must be a resident of the 13 counties served by Georgia Mountains Workforce Development — Banks, Dawson, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White — or work at a business in that area.
