Mincey Marble has asked the Hall County Board of Commissioners to delay its rezoning request until its Oct. 13 meeting — a move that has angered opponents. “This postponement will allow us more time to complete installment of new environmental equipment that will further diffuse odors from our production process,” the West Hall company stated in a Tuesday press release. “We also will be able to provide more data from new monitoring instruments that are on order.
