Local government managers in Northeast Georgia can enroll in a management development program series that starts Tuesday in Gainesville. The first ever open enrollment regional program offered by the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Insitute of Government aims to strengthen leadership skills and is tailored to municipal and county government supervisors. “Participants are provided with hands-on training that helps to broaden their awareness of core management skills, strengthen their leadership techniques, and refine their interpersonal skills,” said institute Senior Public Service Associate Walt McBride.
