A man charged with kidnapping, rape and aggravated sodomy was ruled mentally incompetent to stand trial, but a doctor said he believes he could eventually be ready for trial, according to court documents. Steven Areizaga, 31, was accused of holding a woman against her will for about 12 hours at an Oakwood apartment in August 2016, according to law enforcement. Oakwood Police Chief Randall Moon said Areizaga allegedly used a knife to menace two officers early in the chase.
