A man was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday while in Gainesville, police said.
Gainesville Police said the man was at Rabbittown Salvage between midnight and 2 a.m. Sunday when the business was closed. The victim was approached by a white man in all black clothing.
“The subject pulled the firearm on him and demanded his wallet,” Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said.
The suspect ran away, and no injuries were reported, police said.
According to a representative of Rabbittown Salvage, the victim is not connected with the business.
