A Gainesville man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck early Saturday when his truck crossed the center line, struck an embankment for a private driveway and went airborne, authorities said.
Dustin Cain, 28, was driving his 1999 Chevrolet Silverado north on Harmony Church Road, about two-tenths of a mile north of Dover Road, about 1:23 a.m. Saturday, according to Georgia State Patrol Cpl. Auston Allen.
After Cain’s car went airborne, it rotated counterclockwise and came to rest facing west.
Allen said alcohol is suspected in the crash and that Cain was not wearing his seat belt.
