One person was airlifted in critical condition from a one-car wreck involving a SUV on Harmony Church Road this afternoon.

Officials with the Georgia State Patrol said a Hispanic male driver was the only occupant of the vehicle, which left the road while eastbound on Harmony Church Road about three miles off Gillsville Highway, striking several trees and overturning.

Officials were interviewing witnesses to determine the cause of the wreck, which occurred at about 3:15 p.m.
