A man is facing more than a dozen charges, including possession of a large amount of methamphetamine, after he led a high-speed police chase Monday that started in Hall County and ended with his motorcycle crashing into a patrol vehicle. Drew Johnston, 31, of Kennesaw reportedly refused to pull over for a Georgia State Patrol trooper who initiated a traffic stop about 7:15 p.m. Monday on Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 in Gainesville because his motorcycle did not have a tag displayed, according to GSP Sgt. Tim Meyer. Three troopers joined in the pursuit as Johnston fled westward on Ga. 53, Meyer said.
