A Buford man has been arrested and charged with child enticement in Hall County, the sheriff’s office has reported.

According to a news release, members of the Hall County Criminal Investigations Division conducted an undercover operation Wednesday involving the attempted solicitation of sexual acts with an 11-year-old girl.

Investigators learned that Laulue Her, 28, of Buford began making contact with the victim when she was age 9, the sheriff’s office said, and maintained communication through social media.

Investigators then portrayed themselves as the girl and arranged for the suspect to meet at a prearranged location for the purposes of a sexual act. Her arrived at the location and was taken into custody without incident, authorities said.

Her was charged with criminal attempt at aggravated child molestation, electronic enticement of a minor and two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes. He remains in custody at the Hall County Jail with no bond and a first court appearance was set for Thursday afternoon.

The case remains under investigation and further charges are pending, the sheriff’s office said.
