Authorities say a Snellville man bit a man on the shoulder and stabbed him in the neck after forcing his way into a home on Dawsonville Highway.

The victim required surgery after the neck injury, inflicted by a kitchen knife in the Nov. 22 incident.

Warrants were obtained Nov. 23 for Noe Ortiz-Palafox, 32, and he was arrested Friday. He is charged with battery, aggravated assault and burglary, and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office has filed to begin deportation proceedings.

This case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
