Major resurfacing projects are set in Hall County

Three major resurfacing projects in Hall County have been awarded by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Matthews Contracting of Marietta has been hired to resurface Atlanta Highway/Ga. 13 from north of Cantrell Road in Flowery Branch to Jesse Jewell Parkway/Ga. 369 in Gainesville.

The company also will resurface Thompson Bridge Road/Ga. 60 from north of Riverside Drive in Gainesville to south of Fraser Circle in North Hall.

And Pittman Construction Co. of Conyers has been contracted to resurface Cleveland Highway/Ga. 11 south of Holly Springs Road/Ga. 283 in Clermont to the White County line.

The projects are set for completion in spring 2018.
