Main Street now closing Sept. 19 as work continues on parking deck

Main Street will be closing Wednesday, Sept. 19, to install the crane that will be used for Gainesville’s parking deck expansion project. The closure runs between Jesse Jewell Parkway and the city’s parking deck and was originally scheduled for Sept. 17, but the delivery of the crane has been postponed because of Hurricane Florence.
