A mailman was injured Monday afternoon when his truck rolled over and hit a tree in North Hall County, according to authorities.

Spokesman Capt. Zachary Brackett said the man was pulled from the U.S. Postal Service vehicle and taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Georgia State Patrol said Marcus Tovar, 30, of Gainesville, told authorities he had a seizure and had shortly before the crash called his supervisor to say he wasn’t feeling well.

Tovar was in stable condition Monday night.

The incident happened about 3:45 p.m. Monday on Highland Circle near Highland Road. No other vehicles were involved.

No charges were filed, and alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the crash, according to state patrol.
