A Lula man was flown by helicopter to Atlanta Medical Center Saturday after his motorcycle crashed on Bryant Quarter Road in East Hall.

James Michael Poole, 53, of Lula, was traveling east on Bryant Quarter when he lost control of the vehicle and slid on the roadway, said Gordy Wright, Georgia State Patrol spokesman.

Poole suffered a head injury.

The state patrol responded to the wreck at 4:20 p.m., Wright said.
