A Lula councilwoman was transported Saturday for injuries following a collision Saturday on Joe Chandler Road. Vicky J. Chambers, 57, of Lula was driving a Toyota Sienna west on Joe Chandler Road around 7 p.m. Saturday, as a Honda Accord driven by Joshua W. Armour, 23, of Gainesville, traveled eastbound. “The Accord crossed over the centerline and struck the Sienna head-on,” wrote Department of Public Safety information officer Franka Young in an email.
