Lula City Council OKs June election to fill Vicky Chambers' seat

Lula officials approved a special election June 16 to replace late Councilwoman Vicky Chambers. At the council’s last work session, Mayor Milton Turner said the council could chose to do a March election to fill Chambers’ seat, but the council unanimously approved the June election he proposed. City Manager Dennis Bergin prepared an ordinance for the council to approve.
