Laurel Park’s boat ramp will be closed Saturday during the Hawgin’ on Lanier barbecue event. The event begins Friday night with a concert, but the boat ramp will remain open that day. It will close Saturday during the Jaycees event that includes a mud run 5,000-meter race with obstacles, a car show and barbecue competition.
