An overnight single-lane closure is set this week as work continues on the Boling Bridge replacement on Dawsonville Highway/Ga. 53 at the Hall-Forsyth county line.
The westbound righthand lane will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Flagging operators will direct traffic on both sides of the bridge, or between Dogwood Path and Little Hall Park.
Crews will pour another substructure support for the new bridge, weather permitting.
The DOT asks drivers to slow to 35 mph in the work zone.
Scott Bridge Co., of Opelika, Ala., is handling the $20 million project, which calls for construction of the new bridge next to the current bridge, then demolition of the current bridge. The project is scheduled for a March 31, 2019, completion.
