The Jefferson City Board of Education will meet at 4 p.m. today.

The meeting will be held in the media center of Jefferson High School at 575 Washington St. in Jefferson.

During the meeting, the board will receive a facilities update, at which time board members are expected to discuss additional classroom space and other modifications at Jefferson elementary and high schools.

The board also will receive an update on instructional programming and the Scotland Exchange Program.
