A free community festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gresham Motorsports Park Grand Opening will benefit local charities and community agencies.

Multiple events planned for Saturday at the refurbished facility will raise funds, food and toys for several local groups.

The planned events include a 3K Fun Run/Walk that begins at 10 a.m., a free Punt Pass and Kick Competition at 11 a.m. and a "Cheer Off" at 11:45 a.m.

Visitors who bring three canned food items or a new toy valued at $3 or more will earn a $5 Funopolis Game Card.

There also will be a blood drive, free medical screenings, pet adoptions and a variety of displays and other vendors.

In addition, an INEX/600 Racing Series test will be held on Saturday and fans are invited to view the test free-of-charge from the all-new grandstand.

Gresham Motorsports Park will reopen after a 10-month total renovation with the 26th Annual World Crown 300 Nov. 13-15. Tickets for this inaugural GMP INEX/600 Racing Series event are just $10 for adults.
