Jumping off the walls is encouraged at Get Air Gainesville, a new indoor trampoline park.
The park opened Friday at 2283 Browns Bridge Road in Gainesville.
“The power of social media has been incredible,” manager Steven Wells said.
He also said the past six days have been busy, since most schools in Hall County are out for spring break.
Prices vary on height and whether you want to jump for one hour or two.
For big kids and adults, it’s $14 for an hour and $22 for two hours. For kids shorter than 46 inches, it’s $9 for one hour and $14 for two hours.
Each person who jumps is required to buy reusable jump socks for $3, which come in five sizes.
Everyone who enters, even if the person is not jumping, is required to sign a waiver, which can be accessed online before you visit at the park’s website.
A safety video found online and in the lobby of the park is also mandatory viewing.
For those who love a discount, the park offers daily deals Monday through Thursday, which are also the best days to avoid crowds.
On Monday nights families of four to 10 get 20 percent off, and on Tuesdays customers get two hours of jump time for the price of one hour.
Students can get 20 percent off with their IDs on Wednesdays, and loyalty card holders get double stamps on Thursdays.
Gainesville mom Megan McCoy said she’s excited to take her 6-year-old daughter Alexis McCoy to the trampoline park.
“I am excited we are getting something new and different,” McCoy said.
She said she plans on taking her daughter to the park sometime soon. Her mother-in-law comes to town every other weekend, and she likes to show her what’s new in town.
“It's always nice to have new activities for all of us to do with the kids,” McCoy said.
Kids younger than 12 years old have to be chaperoned at all times while they’re at the park.
Brittany Walker went with a group Tuesday afternoon. She took her 7-year-old son and 7-year-old niece, three friends and their kids for fun.
Walker didn’t jump around herself, but son Drayson Walker did.
“He jumped for the entire two hours,” Brittany Walker said.
They would visit again soon, she said.
