Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy of two decomposed bodies found Tuesday afternoon at a Gainesville home in what could be a murder-suicide. Until then, they can’t release identities or cause of death, Gainesville Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said. The bodies of a man and woman, found in a home on Dixon Circle off Dixon Drive and overlooking Lake Lanier, are at the state crime lab, he said.
