The Humane Society of Hall County is looking for youth volunteers.

The Kid’s Club trains Pet PALS, which stands for Preparing Animals for Love and Shelter.

Members meet monthly at the adoption center at 845 W. Ridge Road in Gainesville to listen to guest speakers, share ideas and work with adoption animals.

The first meeting for the Critter Crew, which is for ages 7-9, will be held at 4 p.m. Sept. 5. The first meeting for the Animal Ambassadors, which is for ages 10-12, will be held at 4 p.m. Sept. 12.

Membership is $60 for four months, or half a school year, or $100 for the entire school year. Children also can attend one meeting to try out the club for $15. Membership includes a PALS T-shirt, a membership certificate, craft fees and pizza and drinks for each meeting.
