Hospital changes service for free valet parking

As of Monday, Northeast Georgia Medical Center will no longer offer free valet parking at the Outpatient Services Building and emergency room entrance.

The service was established during the construction of the Women & Children’s Pavilion because there was a shortage of parking spaces. Now that it is completed, there’s more parking available near the entrance.

The hospital will continue to offer valet parking at the Surgery Pavilion until the North Patient Tower opens in April.

The free shuttle service provided by Medical Center Auxiliary volunteers, in which people park their own cars but can ride in an electric cart to the hospital entrance, will not be affected by the changes in valet parking.
