The Northeast Georgia Health System is treating 91 COVID-19 patients as of Oct. 25, the same as the day before and a decrease of 17 in a week. The percentage of ventilators in use was 55%. The health system has Hall County locations in Gainesville and Braselton and treats patients from across Northeast Georgia.

The Georgia Department of Public Health has released statewide data showing the numbers of COVID-19 cases and deaths between those fully vaccinated and those not vaccinated or partially vaccinated. The Northeast Georgia Health System also continues to provide the percentage of vaccinated and unvaccinated cases being treated in its hospitals.
Local school systems also provide data on their COVID-19 cases. Hall County Schools reports numbers of students and staff with COVID-19 and those quarantined by school and overall as well as highlights schools requiring masks. Gainesville City Schools reports total number of COVID-19 cases on a weekly basis. Masks are required at all schools in Gainesville as of Aug. 30.

Students with COVID-19: 61, up one from Oct. 15
Students quarantined: 40, down from 44 on Oct. 15; another 141 students and staff are quarantined but permitted to be in school wearing masks, a decrease of 58 from Oct. 15.
