Gainesville Parks and Recreation celebrated the 10th annual Mother/Son Halloween Dance on Tuesday night at the Civic Center. A total of 179 mothers and sons signed up this year, said Parks and Recreation Division Manager Missy Bailey. “This has grown through the years,” Bailey said. “This year it grew a lot.” The festivities included music, food, and, of course, spooky costumes.
