Hall turns Christmas trees to mulch after holiday
County residents can drop off trees at compactor sites, recycling center

With Christmas two days away, few people are yet thinking about what to do with their tree after the holidays are over. Few people that is, except for employees of Hall County Resource Recovery department, which is continuing a more than 20-year-old tradition of recycling residents’ Christmas trees into mulch. "I’ve been here for 22 years, and we have been doing this longer than that," said county Recycling Coordinator Rick Foote.
