A Hall County man is accused of beating a man with a handgun and taking the man’s car, cellphone and wallet. Jonathan Cory Ballenger, 39, was arrested Tuesday by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities charged Ballenger with aggravated assault, armed robbery and felony theft by taking in connection with an alleged incident around Jan. 25-26.
