Schools across Georgia may be asking for extra credit when the state releases their annual scores in the coming weeks. Hall County School District Superintendent Will Schofield warned school board members Monday that changes in how the College and Career Ready Performance Index is calculated could lead to schools and districts receiving drastically lower scores than last year, even as graduation and test score rates have increased. “At first, we were very supportive of that concept,” Schofield said about the changes in how the index is calculated.
