Wes and Nikki Pitzer lost their Alto dream home and decades of memories in a matter of five hours Saturday. The brick facade covers the charred remains of a home lived in for seven days. “From the moment we saw it, we fell in love with it,” said Wes Pitzer, a 17-year veteran deputy of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
