Hall County middle schoolers excel on tests

Hall County middle schools are celebrating high End of Course Test scores earned by middle school students who completed high school courses. The Carnegie units, or high school credit units, are applied to students’ high school diplomas.

Of Hall County’s students taking Carnegie unit literature classes, an average of 76.2 percent exceeded the standard compared to 29 percent statewide, according to a Hall County schools news release.

Of Hall students taking Carnegie unit science classes, an average of 81.5 percent exceeded the standard compared to 29 percent statewide, the release reported.
