The man died at noon at Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, where he had been admitted since he was found by the side of South Old Peachtree Road new Lou Ivy Road on Tuesday night. He was in cardiac arrest and was transported to the medical center by emergency personnel.

The man was believed to be in his mid- to late 50s, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 150 to 60 pounds. He has a distinctive scar on his left arm that appears to be from a prior surgery.

He was found wearing khaki cargo shorts, a white shirt, white Nike sneakers and a UNC white fitted cap. He was also wearing what appeared to be purple gardening gloves. Based on keys found in his possession, he may drive a 1998-2002 Toyota of unknown model or color.
