The inaugural Glow In The Dark Easter egg hunt took place Friday at Laurel Park.

“This is our first time holding the event, but it is going to be an annual thing we do,” said Shanda Sexton, special events and programs coordinator with Hall County Parks and Leisure Services.

Children younger than 3 were able to participate in the early hunt, while older children hunted for eggs separately. Sexton said there were four different age increments, so parents could watch their kids.
