Gillsville Highway was closed at Athens Highway for part of Sunday night while authorities worked to contain a fire. No one was transported to the hospital with injuries, according to authorities. The fire was at an Exxon Mart on the corner of Gillsville Highway and Mustang Drive and appeared to have originated in the ceiling of the convenience store, Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said.
