The GBI has been called in to investigate, and foul play has not been ruled out in the disappearance of two Dawson County men who were last seen Jan. 2. It’s been nearly a week since Mason Cox and David Wood, both 20, seemingly vanished after a night of fishing from a dock in the area of Fredericks Cove on Lake Lanier off Ga. 400. Dawson County Sheriff’s Maj. Tony Wooten said officials didn’t have any evidence leading them to suspect foul play.
