Gateway Domestic Violence Center inches closer to new apartments

More women and children fleeing domestic violence will be able to find refuge in the coming months thanks to several community organizations. After four years of planning and fundraising, Gateway Domestic Violence Center will begin building its seven new transitional housing apartments in June. “We’re just so glad to be able to meet this need for domestic violence survivors in the community,” said Jessica Butler, Gateway’s executive director.
