An apparent gas leak is slowing rush-hour traffic along Browns Bridge Road in Forsyth County, authorities say.

Traffic is being rerouted along Browns Bridge by the leak. Shady Grove Road is closed and traffic is backed up for miles, as far west as Ga. 400.

Browns Bridge is closed from Elrod Circle to Burruss Mill Road. The detour is Elrod Circle.
