Police on Monday identified the victim of a Friday evening wreck as Yaqueline Ibarra, 21, of Gainesville.

Ibarra, driving a 1992 Honda Accord, died after it appears she pulled in front of a 2003 Lincoln Aviator SUV traveling north on Athens Highway at the intersection with Wilson Drive at about 7 p.m., Cpl. Kevin Holbrook of the Gainesville Police Department said.

Ibarra, along with the driver and a 2-year-old child in the SUV, were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Ibarra was later pronounced dead. The other driver and child have been released from the hospital, Holbrook said.
