A Gainesville teen was arrested Saturday and charged with armed robbery and possession of marijuana after using a handgun to steal $5. According to the arrest warrant, Jahkai Washington, 17, reportedly approached Jeremy Culpepper near the corner of Bradford and Washington streets with a handgun and forcibly took $5 from him. Gainesville Police Department spokesman Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said officers were on routine patrol early Saturday morning when they were approached by Culpepper.
