ATLANTA — The Georgia Board of Regents gave its go-ahead Tuesday on design and construction of a 300-vehicle parking deck at Gainesville State College in Oakwood.

Work could begin on the $4.5 million deck in June or July, said Paul Glaser, vice president for business affairs.

The project could be completed in January 2009.

The deck would be built off Mathis Drive toward the back of the campus.
