The Gainesville Planning and Appeals Board met Tuesday night to discuss requests for a rezoning and a zoning amendment. An additional variance request for Cochran Properties on Springdale Road was withdrawn. The board approved the rezoning request for Reuben Black, who was attempting to have an area on Longview Drive rezoned as single-family residential.
