The Gainesville Public Utilities Department reports hundreds of residents are owed refunds on their water accounts. The department is urging individuals who think they might be owed money to check a list of names on the city website, www.gainesville.org/updated-list-of-water-refunds. City officials say they owe more than $25,000 in refunds dating to 2008.
