A Gainesville man is accused of molesting a girl under the age of 10, according to authorities.

Adan Aguirre Jr., 28, was arrested and charged Saturday with child molestation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains.

Lt. Scott Ware did not release the victim’s age. The lieutenant said the alleged incident took place April 1 in Hall County.

Investigators obtained warrants for Aguirre April 27.
