The Gainesville Board of Education wants to improve the district’s central office. The board approved $39,845.55 in SPLOST IV funds for renovations to the front of the office, including taking down gates that separate the small waiting area from the rest of the facility. “We are in need of some renovation at the front office space,” Superintendent Wanda Creel said.
