Forsyth County schools set to hold job fair

CUMMING — The Forsyth County school system is planning its 2008 Educator Job Fair for 5-8:30 p.m. Friday at South Forsyth High School, 585 Peachtree Parkway.

Administrators and representatives from all Forsyth County schools will be interviewing certified educators to fill jobs for the 2008-09 school year.

Job fair attendees are encouraged to bring enough copies of their resume to provide one for the district and one for each school where they wish to interview.

The Gainesville school system plans to hold its schools’ job fair at 8 a.m.-noon March 15 at Gainesville High School.

The Hall County system held its job fair Saturday, drawing 931 people, Superintendent Will Schofield said in a systemwide e-mail Monday morning. Last year, the fair attracted some 500 people.

"Individuals came from as far away as New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont, Michigan, New York, Virginia and Indiana," Schofield said.
